Is that "life" or between charges in use?

I charged mine every few rides when used for chat and directions when out on rides.
If I was doing commentary demo rides then the say 3 hours out with about an hour of my yaking would see it needing a recharge before venturing out again.

Making your own on bike power supply for it isnt that hard and I built a Autocom adaptor for it using an AA battery pack from ebay and an autocom Kenwood lead

HTH

Thanks for that Baggie:thumb

Thinking more of daily life... off to the continent in a couple of weeks and will have it on for 8hrs or so per day with intermittent chat.. :thumb

You can buy a battery eliminator for the 803 from intaride, well worth the money, (just rig a socket near the headstock to plug into) just save the proper battery for when your off the bike if you need it :thumb2

Had one... shortened the lead to hard wire it in.. cocked it up.. re wired.. cocked it up... now the wire is about 2cm long :blast

May have to get another one...:rob

its worth noting that the radio is really a Wouxon KG-703E and you find the radios and accessories on HK ebay for not much money. The AA battery pack I butchered to make my autocom interface was less than £5 delivered.
