It's now possible to interconnect different manufacturer's Bluetooth headsets. Whether they're from 3rd party add-ons like Scala, Cellularline/BlueAnt/SuperTooth, HelloBiker etc, and/or helmet manufacturers like Nolan,Dainese, Vemar etc.
AKE ave released a small device, that's portable and runs on batteries, that will interconnect any Bluetooth headset via Bluetooth 2 version 1.2.
The AKE BlueCom 102 functions as a small hub, you can connect wired and wireless devices such as bike-to-bike walkie-talkie, GPS, music and mobile phone, and send the into to the headsets via Bluetooth.
No price known as off yet, but I should know by tomorrow.
Looks really interesting when you've got two folks without the same equipment.
