Interesting Experience

Hopped on my bike, turned key fired up sweet as you like. Drive off and after about a couple of miles or so I come up behind this car, drop a gear or so and wiz past up to about 60ish. Then everyting dies on me, no power no electrics and NO BRAKES. Missed everything and stopped. Appears I had not turned the ignition key completely on and It switched back to the off position.

Duhh make sure I dojnt do that again

Did similar on my BoxerCup once, reaching with my left hand - for my visor-cloth under the screen.

Happened in the outside lane of the motorway, doing around 80mph. Could only coast into the emergency lane, wondering what-the-hell had happened!

Come on guys..you all up the pub??
Surely this could never happen on an Airhead or 1100 or 1150 !!
Must be another reason not to buy one!
Never done this sort of thing myself, not even close ..............well unless you count the time I spent 10 minutes in a dark pub car park trying to kickstart an old Suzy Kettle with the kill switch on!!!
