Heading out again in March, and not sure which route I should take to head South, taking in good scenery and piste. Anyone got any suggestions for the route I should take heading towards Erfoud?

Thanks,

Well we took the Cirque de Jaffar to Tinghir (from Midelt to Imilchil and then through Todra Gorge) 10 years ago but I know the last bit is tarmac now. Great trails then and one of my fondest memories of trail riding, it goes for miles (the scenic way we did it, anyway).
We then took the road to Erfoud and off road all the way to Merzouga, which is also tarmac, now. :blast

Jim, Thanks, I have the Chris Scott book, and know South of the Atlas reasonably well. It's the North and the route to the South that is a void for me.

Hi John been a while you still got BMW last time we spoke was mid wales when you and nick left i broke my leg :eek:all recovered now and looking for another bike my old rd03 is for sale but fancied something different Gary :thumb

Blimey mate, long time no hear. BMW gone; got a XT660Z tenere now. Not sure if I should compare with the BMW on this site! Much better off-road, but much worse on it!! Probably better for my 2.1M frame too. Give me a shout if you are ever in my direction.
