Interesting write up

To add to my post , i have tested many current bikes , most that have been mentioned and still find that each has its own wow factor , but again i so glad to get on the dependable boring GS as its a bike that for some reason cannot be matched.
I know figures may always be quoted but that's not always the case , as the journo said , the KTm makes 160 but at it needs to get there the BM has 125 but always seem to be there, the bm just sticks like glue to most bikes ( okay not fast boring straight roads ) and just does it so so well , plus conventional forks duck and diving for me are so last year lol.
But the posts i have put up are for discussion and hopefully not upset , also we all love our own makes models etc , as i say its a boring world if we all loved the same .....but my bikes better than yours:D:D:D:D:thumby::thumby::thumby::clap:clap

Do you think it would be worthwhile ? A big personality? Engaging wit ? Banter and worthwhile conversation? A good egg?
No , I suspect hes a 60 year old nerdy type , a small minded person who cant see the big picture.
(the problem with closed minded people is that their mouths are always open)

My GSA 1200 ticks the boxes for me. Not because of the shaft ( I had a 800 gsa) not because of the big tank not because of anything taken in isolation. It’s not the fastest lightest whateverist but when you add up everything it is doing for me AND the dealer backup it is the best overall package for me. I’ve had many other bikes but always seem to go back to bmw. That’s mostly because of the service I get from my bmw dealer. I’d safely say that if I won the lottery I’d just buy another GSA. I’d buy a RT as well because I like them. I’ve had 3. Probably not the best bike in the world ( who cares) definitely the best all round package. JJH

It certainly is a big grin bike and that makes it a winner in my eyes . I’m sure the KTM is a huge smile bike too , but Just doesn’t do it for me .

How old are you Charley? 29, 30 - what is your level of education? You only need A-levels to be a pilot - is that as much as you could manage?

P.S. the LC GS is the best allrounder there is.
