Internal fuel lines.

There was an article in RiDe magazine several years ago, where the internal fuel hoses were replaced. It listed the technical specifications for clips/hoses.

Hopefully someone can recall which issue, I know I've put mine 'safe' somewhere.

Motorworks do both OEM and alternative internal hoses with a big difference in price.

Is there an alternative to buying expensive OEM hoses?

Just bought the Nushings stainless U-bend to swop out while inside as well as the filter.

Got a link to the “Nushings stainless U bend” ?

Over here ( in the USA) just about any auto parts store will carry Gates 27093 fuel hose by the foot sold off of a roll.
it meets these specs for fuel submersible hose and pressure rated ( from Gates)

Temperature tolerance range of -40°C to +150°C (-40°F to +302°F).
Comprised of a FKM tube and cover with a synthetic fiber reinforcement.
Exceeds required SAE 30R10 standard.
Working pressure of up to 100 PSI.

it is expensive about $25 per foot from an auto parts store like that, but you really need less than a foot to replace whats in an oilhead fuel tank.

maybe with that part number in hand you can find something locally.

you can not use that hose to make the U shaped BEND however, ( it will kink) so you are stuck with the $50 OEM rubber bend, or one of the few aftermarket alternatives.

Hey rugged path where did you buy from

A local motor factors. They did a search equivalent for the Gates 27093 submerged lines which are bloody expensive. Look up the DIN 73379 reference and these lines cover what we need at a reasonable price.
Metre length is enough to share with a friend.

thats the stuff I assume, never heard of the brand, but about the same price as the stuff over here

ive found it cheaper if you buy 10 feet at a time, but that is $200 worth of hose, when you really only need about 7-9 inches of it.
