Internet source for OIL - OPIE OILS

Found this website via the MX5 forums. The dealer is in Cornwall and the proprietor is a member (MX5 site) and is pretty much the oracle in terms of all things oil. There are dozens of motor clubs and forums registered with the source and good discounts are available to said groups. Most bike oils supplied including Silkolene / Mobil etc.

Might be worth negotiating our mob to be registered for the members discounts......

Talking of oil, can you use 10w/40 Tesco's own in an 1150GS.

Car oil, that says "for any engine"

The answer is probably - yes. BMW recommend an SG rated oil, but as the GS engine uses a separate engine / gearbox lubrication, a car rated oil would probably be OK.

Usde the search button facility at the top of the screen - type in oil and sit back for three weeks to read the results.............
