Hello,
I've just got an interphone, just for the intercom and GPS. Tried it out today and found it a problem. There's so much wind noise from my pillion's microphone, that at anything over 30mph, I can't hear her voice. The windsocks are fitted and her vents and visor are shut. She says she can't hear me too well either, mostly through distortion she says.

Have you come across this? I was thinking about taping up the windsock and just leaving a small gap on the front of the mic.

Any suggestions?

Check if the mic is facing the right way, place it between your finger and thumb, there is a 'bobble' (technical term):) on the side that should face the mouth.
Also you may need to adjust the speakers in the helmet for best results sound wise. It's likely to be your mic thats causing the problem not the wifes. Are you both using full face helmets?

I removed the windsocks and checked, one side of the mic is flat plastic, the other side is flat with a 5mm hole in it. It cannot move to the opposite way round anyway, even with the flexible connection from the mic to the boom.
Speakers are correctly aligned with ear canals. Not sure why you say it's my mic causing problem? Yes, both full face helmets (Shoeis)
