Just gone and spent a sh*tload of dosh on a brand new GSA to get the pannier deal so I can do some R&D.

Oh dear, looks like I am having to go and ride it now...................

you obviously make too much money:thumb2:thumb2 good on ya
If i had the dosh id have a lowered RT aswell,
:flag

Awesome RT

This RT they showed me (the one they are going to send up sometime) already has my crud fitted to it but also has this `iwheel` gizmo fitted to the LH handlebar - I don`t have a clue if it is a standard fit but it blew me away - like the idrive in the 7 seriers but for a bike.

It was awesome.

Yeah, they are standard on the new models if you have the optional radio fitted, the pre 2010 versions had a different tuner/device which was a bit fiddlier:thumb

I see

I see, not having seen one before I wasn`t sure.

Anyway, the new GSA must only be acouple of weeks away - I have the step ladders ready

How about making some sort of stash / box to go under the adv tank (the spot where you can use for spare oil bottle)

Seems like a great idea - I'd take one :thumb2

mmmmm not really

Soz geezers - meant for it to be an Xmas project then work got me then very sadly my mum passed away.

It`s a big job, to be fair, with drilling & Tig welding included on the standard panniers so apart from the time issue I really want to make sure that enough of us fellow tossers would be interested as it`s my panniers I am going to have to drill!

So, can we get an idea who would want an inward facing bolted to the pannier Tig welded box c/w lid before I take a chainsaw to my panniers?

2 so far....................

BTW - I`ve nearly managed to get that `tool tube` fitted to my pannier frame which will be a very much cheaper option and do kinda the same thing...................

Regards, check out my new (pre Xmas) stuff on www.cymarcbikeparts.co.uk

Yes Mark. I am about to lose my tool roll space to fit an autocom so this looks ideal to me. I think I could just about drill holes in the right place with a good template to work from. Anything more technical than that like measuring the distance between the centre of the holes and I am liable to end up with a pannier like a Swiss cheese.

H Mark
I could be interested if you could supply undrilled, so I can make my own mount to suit my setup...
Pic's and wine can be supplied:augie
