Siri worked but couldn't identify the song, or Siri didn't work?
Have to say, it's identified some very weird stuff for me
What model ipad is that with? I've got an ipad 2 and quite frankly it's a pile of shite with IOS 8, to the point that I'm downloading ios 7.1.2 as I type (while you still can, before Apple pull it)
The lag is truly awful. Double click the home button, 2...,3....,4.... and then the home screen appears.
Typing stuff in is a case of type it in, then see it appear letter by letter on the screen.
Logging on to here is a also nightmare (never had any problems before); log in, hit latest posts, open a post in a new tab/window and the new window is not logged in. Select next page of the posts and you're logged out...........
Having to do this from the laptop........
How do you go back to 7 on the pad then

I downloaded it this morning to my iPad 2, it was slow and the screen kept freezing. Anyway the goblins have been working hard all day and now it works perfect......
Back on iOS 7 now & all's well. What did the goblins do?

Siri kept giving replies along the lines of 'it was having problems' ....... had a play this morning on R6 and all working very well indeed

Sounds like a connection issue.
So you literally just left the device alone and it's back the same performance as pre iOS 8?
Think I might give it a couple of days before I try anything else
