IOS7

Is it just me who doesn't see a 'decline' option on an incoming call?

Updated my iPhone and iPad very early this morning and after a day using iOS7, I'm not impressed with the readability of the re-worked OS.

Auto update for Apps is a nice improvement and like someone else has pointed out, brings iOS in line with Android.

There are some really nice touches with iOS 7, overall I'm disappointed, but not surprised.

It seems to work really quick and I like the subtle changes but I've had to change the background to make it look less like a toy .... :bounce1

Plug it into iTunes and revert to previous software ...

there's no going back with iOS.

i'm finding some difficulty reading the display in less than optimal lighting conditions. i have the brightness turned up to compensate, which can't be great for battery life.

i believe that as a result of beta testing the font was thickened up a bit. i think it needs a bit more.

I thought there was an option , never mind ..... :P

I've turned the brightness up slightly also , but opening and closing apps is starting to make me sea sick .... :eek

To improve readability a wee bit

'Increase Contrast" setting (in Settings -> General -> Accessibility)

Made things better during the day, but not great.

iOS 7 has made the screen seem bigger, which I'm guessing is important, as There are about a 100 larger screened android phones.

Downloaded & updated iPhone/iPad yesterday. Initially "Oh my God, what have they done!" :eek the layout it looks like a 5yr olds play phone/tablet.

Things I've found/noticed so far.

Everything that was on the left is now on the right - eg bookmarks in safari, swipe right to left to delete emails, not left to right like you used to.

I can't search for text within a webpage like I used too - In fact the search bars not there. Is it because I have privacy turned on & have turned all ads & that shit off? Anyone help?

It seems to have added & turned on a lot of things as default, such as save passwords & credit card details..........

Overall I've calmed down a bit now & the layouts not so bad :D However, it does look like they're trying to capture more data about you & are linking* things like safari & twitter. I now have a reading list in safari of tweets, which a) I don't want, that's why I use twitter when "I" want to & b) I can't delete the fucking things.

Overall? Not too impressed, I think there's lots of things going on in the background I don't know about. All it's going to do is make me investigate it more & turn everything off :(

*If you're on Facebook & LinkedIn, did you know they talk to each other? You can turn off LinkedIn in Facebook, but you also have to turn it off in more than one place in LinkedIn. Luckily I'm not on LinkedIn, just had to suffer the rant from a mate in IT about it :D

Fed up with iOS 7? Here's how to downgrade to the old version :D

Halfway down the page "9to5mac"

And no, I don't read the Mail, unless I'm in the chippy :thumb

Also, great I can have more than 16 apps in a folder, but why have they changed it so that I can only see 9 at a time & have to swipe within the folder to the next page - that's a backward step

Couple of more observations. Turned the text size down in preferences, so apps with dynamic text size look less cartoonish.

Also, seems to be a lot better on the battery life.?
