Thanks Little Beemer, look forward to it , see ya Sunday

What ferry route are you using? I found one that goes to Fishbourne ...
Is there much to do on the island? Will 16:30 return be too early?
23.50 was the fare quoted .. or 26 if you want to pay more

At least there will be TWO "Blue and White" GS's for the ride out....
T
Wightlink are quoting me £23.50 from Pompey return and Red Funnel's site don't seem to allow for bikes![]()

Just got this email back today from wightlink, I did try:
Thank you for your e-mail.
The cost for a day return for a motorcycle and rider is £23.50 and £10.80 for the additional adult.
As a resident, you have cheaper travel but if you were to take a pillion passenger then you would also pay £10.80 for the additional passenger fare.
Sometimes we have special offers which are available on the internet. If you wish to receive these special offers, it would be best to register on our website and we will inform you when they become available.

Sorry lost it now but looks like LB's sorted it out.
I couldn't get a ferry before 8.30 when I looked. What time you going?
milllard
Mine too is Blue and White......
Although more White than Blue..........
TJW what time have you booked the ferry for?

Dont worry if they say you cant book on an earlier ferry, I can almost guarantee that if you turn up early especially at this time of yr they will allow you to get on, after all, whats a few bikes, we more often than not get a different ferry to the one we are booked on, all they want to see is that you have purchased a ticket, just tell them when you turn up and they ask if you are booked, say yes!
Nick and I as Shadow knows are meetin him at the ferry terminal, not sure what is happening yet re meeting up with the late comers, if we head to Shanklin sea front for breakie, they open at 9am then maybe the others can meet us there, just a suggestion ?? Failin that cant you all just get on the same ferry, lol
I have put a basic map on here so you can see roughly how to get to Shanklin from Yarmouth for those of you comin over that way:
