iPad Google Earth problem

When I go on to 'street view' it zooms down to the selected point and after a brief pause, a second or so, it just zooms down and just shows the road surface and refuses to look up or scan thereafter.

Any suggestions please?

Works fine for me, just checked.

May be your iPad then.
When in doubt reboot it - has usually worked for me.

Rebooting doesn't work, tried that.

PS by rebooting I meant pressing the button on the edge of the iPad for a few seconds until the "slide to switch power off" button is displayed. I slide it to switch off. Switching on again brings the Apple logo on the screen for a minute after which it asks for the pin number. But it doesn't help the Street View issue.

try pressing the power button and home button together until the Apple logo appears, it will then restart.

Sounds to me like the screen thinks it is being touched...

I have had this issue in the past and cured it by deleting the app then reinstalling it
