At the moment I'm using a quite old iPad 2. It's working ok if a little slow and has plenty of memory. I'm wondering if it's worth investing in a new up to date pad.
Is there much difference, will I notice a difference?

Yes.

My missus has an iPad 2 and by comparison my 2.5-year-old iPad Pro is significantly quicker, slimmer and lighter. Much more pleasant to use all round. The difference will be even more pronounced with the new ones. Pop into an Apple store or John Lewis and try one out.

I would expect the pro to be faster, I just wondered how much quicker the standard pad would be. Have to try one I suppose.

The Ipad you are running hasn't had an update for years as it's unsupported, meaning many Apps will not run on it, as you probably know
but, that may not be a bother to you; i think you'd be quite pleasantly surprised at the difference between yours and a new one.

I’d buy a new one. I have an old one on the kitchen wall, and it’s really only any use for e-mails and internet. Lots of apps no longer work

I love the large IPad Pro , but appreciate the size isn’t for everyone.
