Ipad lost wifi

Ipad will not connect to Internet. Powered it off and rebooted numerous times to no avail.

Used last at McD's in Chartres yesterday and worked perfectly. Today I am in Spain not a glimmer. Everything else is working fine. Iphone ok, writing this on Galaxy S2, just ipad not connecting.
Any ideas from brains of Britain?

My guess is the iPad Wi-Fi antenna or circuit failure, hardware requires repair/replacement. Maybe the Apple store will swap out for a fee if out of warranty like they did with my daughters faulty iPhone 4 ?

(£120 for a brand new replacement 32GB iPhone 4 with 90 day warranty)

Miraculously this am I have wifi?

I bought it in Spain 18 months back when they were first launched so I think I'm in the EU warranty system where they are required to give 2 years warranty ( apple just fined millions in of euros in italy for giving 1years warranty )
