iPhone 3G help please

My sons iPhone. He decided to put in a keypad lock code has now forgot it and phone is disabled and says connect to iTunes which is not helping can anyone help? My son is 10 so is liable to have the odd fuckup JJH

A quick look on Apple forums had the following options depending if you have the iPhone backed up or not with iTunes previously, maybe it can help.

It seems it will either reset to a stored back up or reset the iPhone as if brand new.

Did it a few weeks ago with an Ipod Touch my son is 12 so yours is not doing to bad, it reset everything but hey it is an apple and everything apple is good.
