Just recently changed my iPhone 4 for an iPhone 5 and having problems with the connection.
The 4 used to work pretty well and connect automatically in the car or on the bike but the 5 keeps failing to connect and I have to go through the pairing routine which is a pain. Is there something that I need to do to either or both to make it pair automatically?

Thanks for the link, at least I'm not on my own with this one, strange that the Apple shop suggested the phone was fine and must be the sat nav. Now I recall that after I upgraded the iPhone 4 Sw that started giving problems too.
Following the link even suggested that Parrot and BMW devices are also a problem.
Suppose ill have to use the speaker instead. Cheers for the help.

Have you tried updating the firmware on your Zumo to the latest revision?

I had exactly the same issue moving from an iPhone 4 to a Galaxy SIII last week - everything finer in the car, but just refused to work consistently with the Zumo.

Plugged the Zumo into my PC and did a firmware upgrade and it sorted the problem straight away (even though there was no mention of Bluetooth upgrades in the release notes).

Worth a go....

Hi I recently upgraded my Iphone 4 to an Iphone 5 on O2. It paired to my BMW garmin 660 straight away with no problems. Infact where as my old Iphone 4 used to drop out of the bluetooth connection the 5 seems to stay connected. Hope this helps

I've just picked up a new Navigator IV (the second one in 4 days, the first was DOA:blast) and after updating the maps, got it paired with my iPhone 5 and Interphone F5 with no issues:thumb

Mine does same, updates GPS firmware, iPhone replaced phone and updated to iOS 8.2 but still have problem with blue tooth.
