Not as standard I don't believe.

You can get iplayer capture programs though for the PC that remove the digial rights management that the BBC add on.

Just gooogle "iplayer downloader".

I should add however that this gets in to a murky area, so you need to be careful about which programs you download, and make sure you have up-to-date AV and something like spybot Search and destroy to ensure your machine stays clean.

I tend to go for programs from well known download sites that have feedback ratings.

I recorded last weeks using my Mac TV tuner and EyeTV software and have tomorrow's scheduled for recording. Can save them to all important file formats. I normally export them optimised for iPad. Check Elegato EyeTV for further info on file export options.

I work in an school that specialises working with kids with a wide range of multiple Additional Need Support, hence my interest.

Not a problem, and the reason why I posted :thumb

Mandy just let me know what Video file format you would ideally prefer the video to be exported to. They will probably be quite large so would just copy them onto a DVD disk as Video files that you would then copy onto your PC, iPhone or iPad. Or could create a DVD of the two episodes to play in a standard DVD player.

Thanks Skyenet I am not very good with IT :blast, what I would like is to have both episodes on a disc I can use in the computer. Is that possible ?

I'll export them to video files and check they work in a Windows PC at my school on Wednesday (my home computers are all Macs). Once I know they work ok then I can send them over to you.

Hi Mandy

Stripped out the adverts and saved the episodes in two different MPEG formats. Tried them in a Windows XP PC today and both formats worked. Total file size of the four files is just under 3Gb so will put them on a Data DVD tonight. PM me your address and I will try and get them posted off tomorrow.
