iPod / iTunes help

Can any help me with the following problem. I have some Albums saved as MP3's on some CD's, normally when I put a CD in my PC I am offered the option of transferring them to iTunes, this time I am not I guess because each CD has 5 or 6 albums on it?
I have tried opening the CD as a folder highlighting the albums and dragging them into iTunes but this doesn't work satisfactorily?
Any help appreciated

just copy them to the hard drive as mp3's - then re-scan or add to library to search for them

think i tunes need original format cd ,just copy to h/drive then drag and drop

Tom,
If you have iTunes open when you stick the CD in you can explicitly ask iTunes to import the songs (under the File menu)
