Guys not sure this is the right place but here goes:
I have a Starcom system that accepts music input.
My new mobile phone from BT came with one of the new Ipod shuffle thingys about 1 and a bit inches square.
On the front of this there are controlls to pause skip forward/back volume up/down etc.
I got hold of some velcro and managed to velcro thingy inside the handguard on my 1200gsa. As a result I now have 17ish hours of music on tap and can control as good as an expensive stereo.

I put the ipod (nano) in my pocket / tankk bag , and use a remote control attached to the handle bars.

Can't remember what the remote is called, but I bought it from maplins. So worst case, if it rains the ipod stays dry, and the remote gets wet. althought it's shaded by the screen, and has stayed pretty dry even in the worst downpours.

Cheers

I velcro'd my old version of the shuffle (chewing gum packet size) to screen support, it keeps reasonably dry and I can skip tracks, pause etc whilst riding. I put it in a shuffle condom type cover so even the rain doesn't matter.

I velcro'd my 1gb shuffle to the LH fairing, just behind the wind deflector thingys, no need for waterproofing, no amount of rain has affected it!

I bought one of these specifically to use with my Starcom Advance - great minds think alike!:thumb2
