For some reason my iPod Touch does not want to connect the internet. :(

It's been working fine for weeks. It did give me some intermittent problem last weekend, but I assumed I was just using it at the extreme end of the Wifi range.

It keeps asking for the Sky code, which I know I've entered correctly because it's printed on the side of the box. Everything else seems to be working fine and I know the wireless box is working because I'm using it now for the laptop. :nenau

What's the message - unable to connect or incorrect password?

Skycode is the password for the router/modem presumably?

"Select a Wi-Fi Network." then the drop down box only gives me one option (I only have the 1 Wifi network) ie SKY25733. When I click on the password box, I enter the password which I've taken off the side of the box it just comes back with "Unable to connect to the internet". There's different messages for different apps etc eg some just say "No network connection".

Sometimes you just need to unplug the router or modem for a bit the turn it back on and it works. Sometimes.
I'll try it, but the laptop works fine as does my boys 1st generation iPod touch. :nenau

Is it possible somebody changed the password? Usually the router has a web interface which lets you change the password.

Do you have a laptop which can connect to the router?

Highly unlikely anybody would have changed the password, because my boys iPod and the laptop still connect to it with no problems. :nenau

go to wifi settings select the sky network and in the options for that network tell the Iphone to forget this network then exit settings, you should then be prompted to join the sky network when you next select a web based feature enter the code and hopefully that will solve the problem.

Mine asks for a 'network key' which should be an 8 letter code that is case sensitive
Came on a card that also has the SSID one it

I had a similar problem, then after a while I thought about it being case sensitive, it was, worth trying if you haven't done so already, bit annoying as you have to hit the shift key each time:blast (I was having one of those days).
