The Zumo can play MP3 music vide an SD memory card. Audio can be routed to an autocom/ or crudely to your helmet via a 3.5mm stereo socket. The Zumo has two bluetooth radios. You can sync your phone to one, and an autocom to another (using the autocom bluetooth dongle).

Gonz.

I bought a second hand Zumo 550 (BMW branded, and havn't got a clue how to download ipod stuff, pictures or maps onto it.
\I have added the disc and registration etc to my PC but the instructions are basically sh*t..... any ideas???:pullface

Where can I buy a remote for the iPod ?
There are cheaper alternatives but I've been using one of these for a few years now:

The car steering wheel mount works well on a bike's handlebars.

It appears to be. Although it's not claimed as such but mine has been hosed down on the odd occasion that I've forgotten to remove it when washing the bike.

Music and Pics. Just place SD card in computer, copy MP3 and jpg onto it and put in Zumo. Never worked out why anyone would want pics though? I have heard its best to put mp3 in particular folders but have never noticed it making any difference wheher you put them in the root folder or a music folder.

Maps. Install maps on computer, open Mapsource (or Basecamp on Mac) and follow help files on how to copy to Zumo. Note that updating maps requires unlock maps and they overwrite existing maps. When installing additional maps, e.g. Topo maps the choice is to put them on the Zumo or an SD card which is plugged into the Zumo. Both ways work but the SD card is better due to lack of space on Zumo. You can also use Mapinstall program from Garmin site to install maps which you have on your computer.
