I you're using a Mac Audio Hijack Pro from http://www.rogueamoeba.com/audiohijackpro/ is the biz. Connect your tape player to the line in on your Mac, start Audio Hijack, play the tape. You can set it to split the tracks and save them in a variety of formats. Enjoy
