ipod syncing or not

I've got some albums in itunes but they're not copying across to my ipod. I can play them in itunes no problem but when I sync device they don't get sync'ed.
I tried sync'ing one with mediamonkey instead but when I played it on the ipod it was playing at about 1/10th of the correct speed.
Any ideas what the problem is?

Sounds like your unit is corrupt. Try doing a restore from iTunes... should sort it.

Are you syncing all tunes or selectively, if selective are they ticked ??

Yes, syncing all.

I also notice that the artwork has disappeared from most of the tracks on the ipod.

Yes plug your iPod in and go to it on iTunes, should recognise it as Dave iPod or whatever you called it, go for a reset on the iTunes page near the check for update button, see if that sorts it, if not give me a shout back, if nec by pm and I'll call you on phone tonight

As long as itunes sees the ipod you can revert to original settings for the ipod and that may help.

Seems to have done the trick. Got all the artwork back and looks to be in the right place.
It wouldn't do the dodgy albums though - incompatible sample rate apprently.
I've checked a few and it seems to be the 24 bit ones are the problem, every other one I've checked that plays is 16 bit.

Good stuff, are you running windows 7 mate, if so the bit thing will be a factor, there is a work round if so
