Hi,

I was introduced to this site by the Guide at the Hill of Uisneach - say no more!

The map will open in OS mode.

On the toolbar top right, there is a tool looking like 4 squares in a square pattern (eh...), callwd "Basemap Gallery"...

Click this and you will get to choose between 5 more map views.

Interesting for a groove around some places you might be familiar with..

I've used this in the past a few times exploring local historic sites. It's amazing what history can be found on your doorstep. The site doesn't get much publicity and I do wonder if some types will use it to ransack historic sites and whether that explains it's lack of public presence.
