I have a week off in the begining of August and was wondering if anyone has any advice on a week in Ireland , ie Northern or Southern or have any advice.

Ireland Section

First week in August is bank holiday weekend in the south of Ireland. Hotles, B&Bs and roads can be very busy. I would suggest you start in the north and head south about the Tuesday

Its all good just follow your nose. also check out biker.ie for rideouts and rallies. The Irish biker rally is great craic more so if you enjoy a drink.
If you end up in Galway we can meet for a spin.

The Riders Rally starts on 30th/31st July. A route of about 800 miles around Ireland. Campsites organised, plenty of company, 300+. A good start for week's tour if you haven't been to Ireland.
