Iridium plugs?

My bike is booked in for the 12,000 service soon. I presume that will include changing the spark plugs.
I was thinking of getting some of those fancy iridium plugs in when they do it.
Anyone tried them and do they actually make any difference to anything?

I fitted them to a Bandit and they did improve the running.

Can't imagine it running any different as a spark is a spark is a.............Maybe they might have a slower wear rate though.

They do seem to mask some poor running issues, it looks a bigger fatter spark and are much harder to foul up.

Worth it? Yes i think so

Not to sure of the benifit on engines that are running well to start with
