Conversely when ABS becomes required by law on new bikes, new ish bikes without ABS may well command a premium.

It didn't happen with cars, and it won't happen with bikes.

And on the other side of the fence, I have no interest in the "you must have it" bollox

Why would people want bikes without something that could potentially save their lives?
Agree. I'm in the 'wouldn't buy a modern bike without ABS' camp and I would pay a premium for a used bike with ABS over one without, but yes there are buyers for both. It's a bit of a marmite thing really.
. Perhaps if this dealer had offered a sensible amount in the first place things would have been different.I can't understand why anyone would want ABS on two wheels anyway. We ride bikes, you should be able to feel the brakes and road without it.
What a totally brainless comment!
