Dammit Jon, Paul Grove got me in a head-lock and forced the keys off me !!!
Sadly, it was an microlight, Triumph Speed triple, RAV4, two German Shepherds, lovely wife (just to impress Marion) that finished me off (although the wife IS the most expensive - LOL)!!!
I'm sadly here by default now...but Paul will look after the 650 for Chris..she loves it !!!
So be gentle with me....I'm still in mourning



However, a nice Letov Sluka ultralight is almost bought now...up up and away...............

I’m still here;
you missed a good day out at Andover on Saturday for F650’s. There were 9 of us on a DIY service day at Julian’s house. We were showing each other how to service a F650 at minimal cost, while picking up a few hints & tips. (No more paying silly money to BMW for a service)
A couple of bikes were serviced for the cost of parts only, also a few repairs & mods were completed before the BBQ. This was all topped off by a little formation riding off road round the paddock.

You got any luggage on your 650?

got a bmw tank bag which grows to twice the size if you fiddle araound with the zips for long enough.

desparate for the bmw panniers but i havent persuaded hubby how important they are to my wellbeing yet for him to get them for me.

havent found a solution for carrying other makes of luggage as the 650 was very craftily designed without any anchor points so its difficult to see any other luggage than good old bmw stuff

if you've seen any solutions, i would be pleased to know about them

Marion, just noticed your location. I'm planning to ride down to Luffenham on my F650 at the beginning of next month. Might see you around . . .if your anywhere near the old airfield whenI'm not blowing things up.

take it you're talking about st georges, didnt know they blew things up there, thought they just got hammered at the horse and panniers

then off to assen on thursday morning

if you post on the east midlands site, there may be something going on in the leicestershire area being as the weather forecast is nice for the weekend.

Maid Marion, my apologies but given the nature of most things military, my time down south was not to be . . . this time!
Hope now to be heading south towards the end of the year, but NOT on two wheels (not that brave or stupid . . been cold and wet & didn't like it).
