Got back ended and rear wheel is no longer in alignment with rest of bike. Would say it is maybe 1-2 inches out. Otherwise little damage.

Hopefully not a write off.

The age and value of the bike will have something to do with its ‘write off’ status.

Knowing what bike, model year would be a start ... otherwise its just guessing

I'd say your still in accident mode,

leave it 24hrs and come back and ask the same questions ... you could potentially make a wrong decision ,

which may not go in your favour

Aye. We both ok. Was the mrs that hit me. Car in front did emergency stop to turn into garage, I stopped in time but she didnt.

Fingers crossed it's fixable. It's heading to Motorrad on Monday. Hopefully to give me good news that it just needs new backend!

You could always see if you could use the undamaged bits from both bikes to repair yours and tell her she's got to walk from now on........

Is your Mrs ok?

I got lightly rear ended at traffic lights whilst alongside a copper by a myopic twat a Mercedes coupe who couldn’t stop in time. Bike was undamaged, front end of his merc was a mess of shattered plastic.

With an expert witness already on hand, I left them to deal with the mess and rode home.
