Keep getting asked by the PC to do a survey, it's using a couple of sites I visit as an introduction

The addy they use is http://surveygroupintl.com/survy-uk-50/survey2e-np.php?engsec=7&t202kw=Ukgser.com

Are these legit and safe to enter or is there a whole world of hurt should I take part. i'm not fussed, I just click off, but if one of the girls has a go i'm concerned it might bugger up the bytes or summat:eek

or getting access blocked by employers silly firewall
sounds like you got some sort of MalWare
disable all Add-ons in your browser and see does it improve
update your anti-virus let it run a scan

failing that try a different browser

I doubt its coming from this site, suspect you've been using Fanum's bookmark collection and been caught with your trousers round your ankles.

But a bit of code that adds a referral token to make it appear legitimate :nenau

Download & run Malwarebytes Free, run it as a quick scan and read the beano instead in future!

mmmm I've run malawarebytes (free version) a few times with no nasties indicated, i dumped all my cookies, all to no avail, there is a section on the header/invitation page that mentions that the site mentioned (UKgser) gets some kind of bonus if the survey is completed (sorry no mention of money but i guess it gets another click on a hit counter somewhere) looks quite legit.

No pron on this PC, work and casual safe site browsing only

It's nothing to do with this place, so I would be interested knowing how/why UKGSer is mentioned in the referral link

Just Yahoo & Avg toolbars, I've shut them now (i don't use them, just an indication of my bad house keeping)

Next time I get the page up is there anyway I can take a screen shot of it somehow?

Ooh look who rubbed his lamp :D
Thanks Aladin :D

If you're on the iPad press the home button and the power on/off button while holding it, that will take a 'photo' of the current screen that you can then post up or email me.

If you're on a PC, Alt/Print Screen copies the current screen to the clipboard, so you can do the same :thumb2

Cheers, no issues with access from my Apple products, just from this PC and not just with UKGSer but with another site i use on a regular basis also.

it's definatly some sort of MalWare
it could of gotten there from any website you visited, these things often find there way in from compromised ad servers

I'm surprised malware bytes couldn't get it

checking online it's been reported on a few forums
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=3998799
http://www.techguide.com.au/forum/9-internet/865-ad-ware-or-spy-ware

the general fix seems to be try different browser or un-install/re-install
sorry I can't find you proper removal instructions
