Have invested in some aux lights , mounting bar and a nippy normans wiring loom and autoswitch.....now nippy assures me that this loom will fit my gs11000, even tho' it speciifies its for 1150...so, it looks like it should work, but has anyone experience of fitting this to 1100?
cheers

Yep, everything is exactly the same, dont worry!

Not a hope. With a GS11000, you are going to blow the thing clean off.

Thanks, although reading the instructions and comparing the wiring for the relay I have already found an "inconsistency" in the way the various terminals are supposed to be wired up! 86 to earth, 85 to autoswitch, except that on the "long" version of the instructions these are reversed, as they are in the leaflet that came with the spots! (and indeed, as with nippys own wiring loom!)
Have contacted Nippy to see what he has to say, but will plough on regardless, no doubt and end up at worstwith a new wiring harness for the bike or at best a new bike off the insurance some time after the firebrigade have finished damping down the garage! :thumb
