Is it wrong?

Is it wrong that I am a bit excited about taking my new (to me) 1150GSA down to Steptoe on Monday?

It is primarily going in to have a gearbox whine diagnosed and fixed if required but I am hoping to absorb a bit of "the force" whilst there and get him to give it the once over as well.

Not sure how me being a Northern Monkey is going to go down though?

I can see it now....

Steptoe "Look, just fek off and let me get on with it"

Well i've other jobs booked in ( i don't sit here all day with nothing else to do ) as i'm supposedly just listening to your gearbox so won't have time to do much else.

It's a long way to come just to have a gearbox listened to ?

Positive thoughts on this forum please, there's nothin wrong with your box.....unless Steppers says otherwise.


Just enjoy the experience as I have....just wish he was in Norf Landaan instead.

My thoughts exactly, it is a long way to go for him to have a listen but peace of mind and/or problem solved properly by an expert who knows them inside out is worth it.

What are you worried about?, nothingwill happen it may get a bit worse in time to come but they all make a noise it won't go pop just ride the thing and stop getting paranoid.
