I have an '09 FJR and my much loved old 1150 GS on a "multi bike" policy with a well known Broker (CN)..It's just under £400 for the two.
Decided as I've just retired I might treat myself and swap the FJR for a '21 1250 GSA.
I rang the broker and asked for a quote , having been riding well over 40 years and never having a claim, rural address, garaged etc etc...
Certainly Sir, that would be £1059 !!!
I've tried Bmoto and a few for quotes and the cheapest I can find is £716 for the two.
Whilst I was at it, I told them I was now retired and also no longer required commuting cover either (obviously) I was told the underwriters had approved it and it was the same policy but a £10.50 refund...better than nowt I guess...
Oh but we'll charge you £35 for making the change !, Even the lass on the phone sounded embarrassed and apologetic....
Looks like the FJR is staying and I'll save some money too ......
