Is there a meeting this month?

Venue

The Windmill Pub is just off Junction 19 of the M6 , literally 20yrds from the roundabout.

Exit Junction 19 up the ramp and from the North you will take the 3rd exit of the roundabout heading west onto the A556 towards Northwich. The pub is on your right immediately as you exit the roundabout. Cant miss it. There is a handy Shell petrol station opposite so you can fill her up for the return journey!

Ted,

Are you not participating in the mass ride-in from Sale to celebrate the new venue?? :thumb

Any progress on the luggage and fashion theme for the evening ? :bounce1

As the forecast for Tuesday is good, will there be one or two on bikes?

Fashion

Hi Rollo. Not sure of the ride in. will be meeting up with John and grandtrousers (Mark) and comming in from the 56.
John wants a quick flash of your Jesse's. :gosh

I shall be sporting a pair of BMs exceedingly fine Adv alloy panniers, tastfully trimmed with red (not the illegal white  ) reflective tape. Accessorised with a pair of twowheelhumve's stickers.

Think I will leave the fashion theme this time. Never been to the Windmill before so not sure if they are "bike friendly" so will be on best behaviour. Dont want to scare the locals do we.

Any one going got a set of Civils panniers?

So -

It is Thursday at Broughton Arms then.

Malcolm

I am meeting Ted at about 7.30pm near the "pyramid" at Stockport as we can rejoin the M60 easily from that particular junction. If their is a Sale "posse" we can meet a bit further (possibly M56) if you want. Call me on 07976 814187 if anyone fancies an alternative or extra meet along the way.

M56/A556 has a lay-by just off the roundabout on the road to Mere. "What time you dudes pissin' through"?

I'll stop, if you'll stop - let me know, 'cos I ain't waiting on me own in the dark.

I don;t think you need to inform anybody, I think most of you must be bike polishers, and the rest don;t venture too far from home anyway. :mcgun

you must be one of the few that actually uses theirs for what it was built for, Mr Wassall.

I know for a fact that Les is always on his bike.
he is one of these traffic beating bikers doing the daily commute to and from work spending hours in the saddle in all weathers.
But too modest to say.

respect :bow :bow :bow
