hi is there anybody around the devizes area who does their own servicing. my1100 is due its 48000. i would like to do it myself but any help would be most welcome.its a confidence thing!!

Do my own on the 1150, but I guess I'm a bit far away from you.(Bristol)
But it's not as difficult as it may seem, and a darn sight cheaper!!

Christ man knock xmas on the head,as theres always next year an its only a rip off,an make some savings elsewhere but keep your steed its too easy to get rid of your toy.

When I bought my 1150 GS I told the dealer that I was not paying an hourly rate to have oil dripping out of my bike.
A little discussion later and as long as I bought the parts from him and he did the computer diagnostic and the tappets, I could still get a service history stamp. (A stamp is needed whilst under warranty).

Find a good dealer and it might save you a few quid.
