Looks great to play with! Buy it! No idea if it is a good price or not but it's not expensive.
That just shows how the prices are creeping up.
The 80/7 is a bit bland, brakes aren't fantastic. They make a great all weather commuter but if you don't need a bike for that use and you buy it you'll wonder what your supposed to do with it.

You could say its the perfect bike for me, but only because my surname is in fact Bland.

I reckon for about £400 less you can get a R100RT or R80RT MOT'd and taxed still. It is not a bad bike for the money but with a little patience you can probably get away for less.

nice condition,the £600-£1200 price range can bring up some shoddy examples this looks clean and cared for..and a nice colour...£1300-£1400 would be a good deal...spoke wheels sought after...my r100s got those higher bars comfy postion...dont expect too much and you,ll enjoy riding it..

The seats a cheap copy with no rear rack, the bars aren't standard and the tank pin striping is all wrong, and so are the wire wheels. Feck knows what it's like close up.
Everything points to a police bike been tarted up.

they are mounted the same way as my /7 on the brackets on the forks
and the bike like a lot like my ones but better paint work

dont think anyones calling this a collectors piece,but in the context of the overpriced boxers quoted and the other £3k bikes we see popping up with no real provenance its got to be worth something right or not...£1650s a bit much..but there,s worse out there......

Old BMWs seem to be good value at the moment. Try finding an old British. Italian or American M/C for around a £1000 thats a runner. If you want a cheap old BMW don't hang around because they won't stay cheap for a lot longer. IMHO
Being as my alternative bike storage solution took to the skies during the recent stormy weather (poly tunnel blew away) I'm having to review my bike collection.
The mighty WEG is up for grabs for £1200. 1000cc /7 with a Brembo front end with San Jose fork brace, RS bevel box. New clutch, rebuilt gearbox. New valves, guides and unleaded valve seats. Handlebar master cylinder conversion. Koni dial a rides. Wire wheels fitted.
£1200 if anybody is interested. It's covered in ACF 50 so looks grubbier than it is.
