Took the bike out today to scrub in my new tyres before we go to france , and as I start to bank into a bend I can feel a rumble it does it on both sides :nenau

Probably the tread blocks on your front Tourance rumbling when leant over, had it on all my GS's so far.

If the rear wheel has any play in it when checked on the centrestand, it's your FD. Had that too.

If you had a workshop installing the new tire for you they may have put in too high air pressure. This would make the tire harder and possibly cause the feeling you descibed.

Would be a bit of a coincidence that the FD fails exactly when you are out first time on a new tire.

Anyway, good luck with it! :beerjug:

FD fault?

I changed my exp's at 4500 miles as they were totally knackered for Conti Trail Attacks. Since then I get the same 'rumble' or vibes through the pegs whenever I lean my 2010 GSA over. I too am wondering is this a final drive fault or is it just vibration caused by the block design of the tyre? I've just returned from a 3000 mile trip to Austria and back, two up with full luggage giving it shit on the Stelvio, Grossglocknener etc without any failure so I'm puzzled? :nenau
