Hi all,

I just went to check my emails,on Outlook Express, via my 'Start' page,as I usually do.
Usually I click on Start, then Email and the Outlook Express page appears, and that`s it...if there`s any mail I get a tone, plus the message of 'so many new messages' in my Inbox.

Today, after the Outlook Express page appeared, there was a box on my screen saying 'Login...enter username and password'..
My username was already in the box,and there was a row of dots in the password box.

When I closed it,I got an Error box on the screen, referring to a problem with passwords and login.

This makes me wary...why would this appear ?
I`ve altered nothing on my PC.

Presumably you've got OE setup to login automatically? If for some reason it can't connect to the server at the other end it will often throw up a login box as it assumes your login details were incorrect.

Yes mate,it always opens up in my name.

Perhaps it was just a server glitch,as the message boxes did appear kosher.
Strangely,I sometimes find messages in my Inbox when I go in via webmail off my NTLWorld homepage which haven`t gone to my Outlook Express Inbox...

I might leave it today, and see what happens tomorrow after a shutdown and reboot.

Cheers.. :thumb
