Is this impolite?

2 questions, what's a cockwomble and what's wrong with a hi vis ?

im a GS guy, had 6 and IVE done everthing i can to make my LC quicker and better handling, 17 inch front, 6 inch wide rear with 190 tyre, full Ohlins TTX, carbon everything, full ti exhaust, Hilltoped, im sorry but theres no way it will keep with a 1290 with a rider of the same ability..not a chance, but id still keep my Beemer

I’ve got a 1290 Super Duke GT and an 1150 GS and both are fun to ride as long as you judge both on their individual merits. Even though I’ve only had the 1150 a short while would I swap either of them for a WC GS? Nope because the GT is more fun to ride than a WC will ever be and the 1150 is just a basic, simple, lump of metal that does what it’s supposed to do with no frills attached.

Burn the witch! :rob:D

Oh, and to the OP, registering on a forum, then within 6 months trying to tell people how to behave on that forum, people that have been on here for several years, is very rude.

If what people say offends you, nobody is forcing you to stay, but try meeting some of the people on here face to face, and attending some events before judging people you’ve never met. ;)

There are some cnuts on here that are irrational in their thinking about bikes and brands and even attempt at what is to them a constructive or intelligent reply. What is suppose to be a technical section has become the communal wanking off for the BMW blind. Also why I frequent this place even less. Since the LC section has started there has only been 3 really good technical threads. Here and there some genuine technical questions and answers but the rest reads like my nappy is wet, what do I do mommy?

What are the 3 threads you refer to?

LC models would say more than 3.

2013 model gs.............gearbox, clutch issues plus alternator failures
2014 model on gsa......numerous and varied and never fully resolved ESA issues
All LC models..............switchgear issues which are still happening
All LC models...............issues with engine and drive train paint quality
All LC models...............including ones outside the relevant production dates but not the 2013 bikes front fork issue
All LC models ..............a number have had frame finish problems
GS Rallye......................issues with spoked wheels.....not heard of any GSA failures YET
All LC models...............some random reports of cam and tappet issues.
All LC models...............many have had GSAP issues

As an owner of a bike that had ESA problems, gearbox and GSAP issues, switchgear issues, a number of electronic glitches and had well in excess of £5000 of warranty work , was fitted with telemetric data recording equipment beaming data back to the factory I feel ever so slightly qualified to comment. Yes most were partly resolved but never fully cured , however, they should never have been there in the first place

I suggest you brush up on your reading skills.

I have never told anyone how to behave.

I am trying to understand why some people are acting like bullys and brats whenever others do not share their point of view, and pointed out that for some reason most of them where riding KTM. Thus I asked a question if there were something about the KTM that made them act that way.

Besides, some guy in another thread recently said something like: " this is internett, I write what i want". Well gentlemen, so do I.

This forum is certainly different to others.....it helps if you understand the English sense of humour.....a lot of the posts are banter/piss taking.

The mods seem to take a hands off attitude....perhaps it has to do with the subscription model...

I see your point.

The irony is, the same people that likes to banter others seems to get pissed off when getting pissed on..

I answered your question earlier drawing parallels between this thread and the identical thread you started in the Orange section but you chose to ignore it.

I pointed out that in the Orange section it was taken with good humour and the appropriate respect a trolling thread like that deserves.

In here we have WC owners getting quite aggressive and childish with their insults.

Based on that evidence I’d say it’s the WMB WC riders that behave like ‘brats’ (sic)?

This site is so much more than just a one make/one model site. Have a look in the recipie section for example........ A lot of us know each other in the real world. A lot of us are good friends with each other and a lot of us behave as good friends to complete strangers on here when they are in need of help.

As has already been said this actually used to be a technical section however those days have long past with the WC section.......however you should still post this sort of thread in the pub (if your sensibilities are up to the robust discussion that would no doubt follow! ).

Finally, I’m calling bullshit on your OP.

I challenge you to provide proof. Let’s say just three threads where KTM owners on here have behaved badly to WC owners based purely on their respective choice of bike.

Just three.

Cut and paste or link them here.

It shouldn’t be hard to do if KTM owners are such brats.

Put up or shut up :)

I think you need to brush up on you reading skills. You read the words, but don't comprehend the meaning of the words.

I asked a question.
You can not proof a question.

As for proof of hostility.

Read you own last post.

There is no proof.

Too much time to think, too little to do.
