Is this impolite?

I think you need to brush up on you reading skills. You read the words, but don't comprehend the meaning of the words.

I asked a question.
You can not proof a question.

As for proof of hostility.

Read you own last post.

Yes you asked a question.

You also made a statement, you wrote:

In here, when reading posts in the BMW section, I sometimes wonder, does the KTM come with a stick up the riders ass, and is it optional or standard?

I find it highly disrespectful that other riders can not get into their head that not every one wants the same as they do. And not only do they not understand it, they also have to throw dirt at others at any given opportunity. True, it's probably only a few guys, and this makes me think that the stick is probably optional.

For that to be true you will have read comments here that show the KTM riders here to be 'brats'. That assertion of yours can be proven, if there is indeed proof.

I'll ask you again, link or paste the threads.

Also, whilst I understand that English may not be your first language it is pretty good so I'm assuming you may have misread my last post? I'm interested to know what was hostile in it, could you explain please?

Finally, here a link for you, the first step on the path to true self awareness :thumb CLICK ME

Anyhow, just finishing my coffee of awesomeness and then I'm off out on my little East German Piggy - ride safe :kissy2

I suspect that it has become such a habit that you don't even notice.

Take a look at #99 in this thread.

It says

"Fuck off.

Andres "

That is not funny nor informative and has nothing to do with British humor, it just resembles a brat that is short of arguments in a debate.

The forum is ful of posts where some people find that a post i silly (and yes I have to sometimes agree, but keep in mind, the question did not seem silly to the one asking it). There are no silly questions, just silly answers. I don't understand why someone have to drop condecsending answers and remarks to an honest question.

We are all at different levels of understanding technology. This does not mean that a person less knowledgeable than your self deserves an answer which is not an answer to the question asked, but instead a spiteful remark that only brings poison to the thread.

:D :D :D

It was a whore's breakfast too (well, apart form the fags as I'm 'clean' these days.......) :beerjug:

Andres

No one loves a quitter

I too had the whores breakfast although i have tweeked it a little and added a couple of chocolate hob nobs just because its Saturday

You my good man need a crash course in how friends respond to each other.

Now if the Hippy cared enough about me and loved me as much as he could he might have actually said ......

Fuck off you Cnut :aidan

And there's the rub................

If your hamster had suffered the indignity that mine went through in Redrick's hands [1] you too would tell him to fuck off..........

Anyway, are you gonna link us to the 'brat' posts you speak of?

Andres

[1] I use the word 'hands' here as even I have some decorum.

Only in person big boy, I'd never be so forward on here

I see your point.

The irony is, the same people that likes to banter others seems to get pissed off when getting pissed on..

Exactly. Stick really did throw his toys out the pram when his thread didn’t go the way he wanted. Shame really, as I used to think he was a decent bloke.

What are the 3 threads you refer to?

LC models would say more than 3.

2013 model gs.............gearbox, clutch issues plus alternator failures
2014 model on gsa......numerous and varied and never fully resolved ESA issues
All LC models..............switchgear issues which are still happening
All LC models...............issues with engine and drive train paint quality
All LC models...............including ones outside the relevant production dates but not the 2013 bikes front fork issue
All LC models ..............a number have had frame finish problems
GS Rallye......................issues with spoked wheels.....not heard of any GSA failures YET
All LC models...............some random reports of cam and tappet issues.
All LC models...............many have had GSAP issues

As an owner of a bike that had ESA problems, gearbox and GSAP issues, switchgear issues, a number of electronic glitches and had well in excess of £5000 of warranty work , was fitted with telemetric data recording equipment beaming data back to the factory I feel ever so slightly qualified to comment. Yes most were partly resolved but never fully cured , however, they should never have been there in the first place

You called me out so here you go. This was interesting to me but a lot of other stuff is just mind numbing the same shit. Blokes having a moan and then posting shite about what some other bloke said. The nature of my job and what makes me tick is a bit specialised, it requires a good technical knowledge and understanding the intricate workings and integration of one system to another so probably the reason why most of the crap on here is boring as fuck.

HEX ezCan thread which got down to some real nitty gritty workings of the stuff.
The integration of the Garmin Virb and real time info on the video recording.
The front fork issue and why it is popping the caps.
There was an interesting post about the TFT screen in one of the threads.

Wash your bike regularly, clean and dry every time, ride it with some mechanical sympathy (it is a shaft drive not a chain drive and GSAP is not kind to shaft driven bikes), and give it the MK1 eyeball every once in a while and most of the issues on here would be less of an occurrence and buy a tyre that you like the tread pattern of.

I just have to look at how some new LC GSA owners handle their bike at low speed to realise that in all the years they have been riding very few have made the effort to improve their skills. It is of no use out riding me in a bend or going faster than I dare but then almost fall over in a car park. That same attitude towards your riding skills is displayed in this section towards taking care of the bike. Ignorance and it must be somebodies fault. It never is the owner. That is all. Almost forgot, to the cnuts on here, :upyou

You are continually make yourself look rather daft. Keep digging, it’s funny to watch. :thumb

Arsey...we wait for your answer and pictures of your beheaded friend...A Afreeka-Tween is not fast enough to get a ticket in mexico unless you got that traffic for holding up traffic...;)
skid06...a KTM is faster than a GS in a straight line but still slow compared to a real superbike with inline-4 engine. But on twisty or bumpy roads a GS is still faster with TL and better more composed handling and brakes. Also the engine is as strong or even stronger up to 8000 rpm where the KTM will take over.I know what I'm talking about since I have encountered those situations in mexico...:D

I don't have pictures you fucking insensitive idiot.
And I was riding a Versys 650 when we got pulled, but out guide talked his way out of them fining us.I have better things to do than engage with blinkered muppets like you.Ciao.

Have we had the normal cop out words “in the real World” yet?

Well in my version of the Real World I get my bike out of the garage and just ride it. I don’t need to check the spoke tension or the final drive, I just use it in the way it’s designers hoped I would and that goes for any of the bikes I own.

Burn the witch! :rob:D

Oh, and to the OP, registering on a forum, then within 6 months trying to tell people how to behave on that forum, people that have been on here for several years, is very rude.

If what people say offends you, nobody is forcing you to stay, but try meeting some of the people on here face to face, and attending some events before judging people you’ve never met. ;)

Well, that's rich coming from a junior sprog!

Hey, knutk, check out your other thread in the Orange section if you want to see this site at it's best and just how things work around here :beerjug:
