Is this normal?

Was out yesterday around Kerry with a mate - he was on an XTZ750 Tenere, I was on my new to me R1150GS... I kept looking at his bike and thinking something's wrong - then it dawned on me - it hasn't got a beak Is this sort of thing normal? Is there any hope for me??
BTW the GS is fantastic on the crap Kerry by-roads - quite surprisingly so

Next West Cork run, the bike in front is a Honda, but the sandwhich is finished.....

Most KTM's are the same. It's a shame cos the xtz and the KTM's are nice looking bikes apart from the absence of a beak. Others think they look better without one. Personal preference innit.

It only looks nice on the GS'es. On DR800's, it looks like crap. Like it is unfinished, like there was no more plastic in the Suzuki factory. (ex-owner of a dr650 )

Seen a few conversions on 1150GSes around here, seems there were different kits available. Resale is generally lower than normal ones.. Can't say I like it though.
