is this oil suitable?

I have 10L of this oil.

I know its Coma oil. I have done some research and am led to believe that BMW recommend the oil meets the following spec Jaso MA2. Have checked the labels on the bottle but no reference to this spec.

Can I use this safely?

This is from the owners book

SAE 5W-40, API SL / JASO MA2

If the oil meets this spec it will be fine

This is from Comma they only seem to make one fully synthetic motorcycle oil

I would use it but some others may not, it meets APi SL and its Jaso MA the MA2 is the same spec oil but safe for use in bikes with catalytic converters most fully synthetic oils are now safe by default MA2 spec is now over 10 years old

I've had Motul for the last 2 changes, definitely makes the gear box smoother, It seems better than the Castrol, and the new BMW stuff made by Shell

The bike oils are mainly oil bath clutch, ma or ma2, so the halfords stuff described for bikes is likely to be ok , they do simplify descriptions for the diy market,
I would use it in my lc, my friend runs it in his zzr1400, no issues,

Just to be on safe side. I will use a litre of the valvoline ma2 mixed with Halford oil
