Just opened and fitted my Christmas present and it looks like the plastic cover for the power supply (Where you stick it when not in use) is broken, the supply pins catch on the plastic, am I correct?

Looks to me as though it is broken down the right side, the supply pins should all touch the plastic, to avoid shorting, looks like yours is broken, cannot really tell from your pic. Is that ally bare on the RH?

Did you get any constructive answers to your questions re: broken plastic ?.
I bought the Touratech mount and the plastic is exactly the same shape as yours.

Don't use that docking port it damages the pins on the end of the GPS cable.

But I did find out if you tilted the connector, at approx 22.3 degrees, it will slide into the holder without damaging the 2nd pin of five. (honest, tilting it works!!)
