Just after advice if you've experienced this.
Just discovered this in the GSA rear tyre. It seems to be holding air but of course who knows for how long!

My question is. From experience, do you think this is too close to the edge for a Stop n Go mushroom plug?

I only use these plugs having had success in the past.

Many thanks.

I’ve plugged loads that far out.

Not a drama at all.

I’ve only used “normal” kits and it’s always worked perfectly.

A k60 with a plug about there lasted me 5000miles.

A plug in there should last 5k - the tyre looks good for about another 500 before replacement.

Thanks for the replies so far, I'll look at plugging it.

The tyre, actually has plenty of tread depth, they squared off at 2000 miles! Road Attack 4's.

Take the tyre off and get it plugged from the inside and vulcanised.

Plugged it now, I'll see what's it's like at 5pm when I leave work but they have never failed on me yet.

Here's what came out of the tyre!! The chamfered end was flush with the tread.
