Is ur bike put away for the winter yet ?

Fair play !

Fanum,
I salute you,that's hardcore.

Yesterday morning,I only have to go 6 miles into Central London.
Tee shirt,jumper,fleece,Rukka.
Jeans, lined over trousers, one pair of socks & trusty Timberlands.

Squire padlock frozen solid !
Back in for the kettle & off we go.
The old RS fires up no bother, billboard on the Westway says -2.

Even with the grips on & some new HG Goretex gloves,my fingers were cold.

Last night similar temp but no cold fingers.
I would n't want to ride much further.
Snow tomorrow,so i'll be on the tube.:beerjug:

Got to work this morning, I said is it cold? reply -8. Thought it was taking my breath away. Finger ends ouch!! Only ride 4 miles each way....enough!
Got one of those quilted flourecent work jackets over my leather jacket. recommended, studded grips on boots...necessary

tash froze

Got to work this morning and my moustache had frozen, first time for years. Snow tomorrow so fun, fun, fun.

Be careful and think of HOT Summers and cold beer. The shit weather will be a memory soon.

Well I finally got the lock unfrozen, ran the bike up to temp and then put the flysheet from an old tent over it for the night :thumb2

I'm going to wear my biggest, stompiest MX boots tomorrow.......I reckon the chances of a slide are fair to middling, and even though they're a bit tight for me, I reckon my GS1 boots will be better for sliding along the road in than my Magnum work boots

Good long whizz round Snowdonia visiting mates today...a few squirrally moments too:)
