Not enough room at the Raven on Sunday...any suggestions???
MooSunday the 29th sounds good...we will need to book Niarbyl in advance as it gets busy...something to do with the great food and fantastic views I reckon![]()
Moo...I got turned-off the TT course at the top of Barregarrow...I had to divert through to the Peel coast road...there was another policeman at Douglas road corner in KirkMicheal...what ever had happened it must have been a nasty one![]()
The roads are always safer over here when its chucking it down...all the wannabee racers stay at home...

Sunday ride and meal was good, as was company. Sorry I'll miss the next outing.
Re an off Island w/end, I've gone to Scarborough several times for the m/bike racing at Olivers Mount. The date (2007) is 15 / 16 Sept. The ride from Heysham across N Yorkshire is xcellent, wonderful roads and scenery, good distance, good pit stops en route. Lots of accommodation options in Scarborough, plus Shops, beach, entertainment, countryside to xplore and for those interested, the racing on Olivers Mount, right next to the town, is fast annd furious (it's like a very mini TT course). Look at www.auto66.com That's my contribution to the discussion !

) and it passed!!
) on the island keep telling me..."ooh...that won't pass; or that aint the Manx way" and then it happens just fine!! I was told my 3 work permits wouldn't come through...and they were fine!! Weird!! Negativity....what a waste!
I'm up for the 29th but will have to beef up the suspension on my bike to carry the chips I have on my shoulders![]()
Q. How many manxmen does it take to change a lightbulb?
A. None. Manxmen don't like change!
Welcome to the Isle of Man Moo. This is the spiritual home of negativity but once you know that you can just ignore it......like everyone else does.
Us Manxies don't need work permits and it would be unusual for us to have to take a vehicle through a test and consequently our views on the processes are based on a lot of rumour and little or no fact.
Just me on the 29th. Mrs Pie still has a broken leg and is unable to get on the bike. Hopefully she will be fit for action May/June ish.
See you all soon.
