are you out with the IAM lot tomorrow? DOn't envy you..its a wee bit windy there...esp in Ramsey today.

soooo...only a week to go.....WHERE ARE WE MEETING GUYS....or shall we meet at Niarbyl and plan a trip once we know if the meal is going to arrive? (the service was pretty darn slow the other week and I have known a couple lots of people now say that the wait for meals can be a tad long....:augie ....hmmm.....!!

I've been out Observing for the IAM yesterday and today...seem to be in demand at the moment :thumb

As we are eating at 12.30 next Sunday I suggest meeting at the Grandstand (near the recycling thingies) at 11.15 for an 11.30 start...is everyone o.k. with that???

Not sure yet - got a friend's birthday party on the Saturday night now, and just noticed a split in the sidewall of the rear tyre, so got to decide on what tyre to get, and they might not get here before the weekend anyway :( Made harder by having mis-matched tyres, and no-one recommends the rear that matches the front on my bike.

Great ride out, (Thanks chris once again a lovely route,) good company, good lunch, all in all a very good day. See you all at the Creek for next meeting

17th June 2007...hows that?

Had a really nice meal....and the people were rather nice too! Thanks for coming everyone and lets see what we can do for the next date.

What about the 17th June? TT ends the week before that (of course:augie ) and we are away the 24th (Gathering of the Clans in Glen Clova); so a nice wee jaunt up the road would be loverly.

those for the 17th June say "ay" and then there's the venue!

MSPCA place in Foxdale; Glen Moar cafe; The Sound (more help yourself than service...but we can do that too can't we?); The Garrison in Castletown?

lots to think about......but time to plan!
Much love guys :Duchess

don't forget to PM me with reminders for the 15th May pls Chris and Carole; we DON'T want to miss it AGAIN!!!!

Tholt-e-Will .....? unless it's burnt down again...:augie :D

Nice central place, next to the river....:thumb

The Tholty itself is closed. It was turned into apartments several years ago. There is the Wheat Free Bakery Cafe about 10yards down the road but I'm not sure if its open Sunday.

Not sure about 17 Moo. The rugby club does a fancy dress pub crawl on pushbikes and I think that's on 16 so I may not be in a fit state to drive come Sunday. If you are about on the Saturday we will be dressed as clowns and we go from The Swan in Ramsey to the Ginger Hall, The Sulby Glen, The Raven, The Jurby, The Grosvenor and then the Grand Island. Best spectator spot is the GI where we will tackle the hill of death (the front lawn).

If Mrs Pie is fit and well (she has an op on her busted leg this Friday) she may be able to drive on 17 so I will keep you posted.

BTW Moo, I have had to take this week off work so if you need any help with the tax thing, pm me here with your phone number and I will ring you, get the details and then bypass the call centre for you.

MEGAMOTO DEMO BIKE !!! :bounce1 :D  :clap :jibber :augie

:blast Sorry Dave just allow me to remove me foot from me big gob!

Megamoto eh? Well at least it's not gonna get you into any trouble:nenau

Hey,no worries. If you kept abreast of everything that was going on,around here, you would never stray more than 4 feet from your PC.The Megamoto Press Fleet are being sent round to the Dealers as Demonstrators as they are too expensive and in short supply for Dealers to have their own.Get on the phone to Jason and find out when he will have one.A couple of spirited laps of the Bilown should put a stupid grin on your face ! In all Honesty,i would love one but i think that with the 1224 ZRX and the KTM Supermoto in the Garage, the Megamoto will be another bike with a narrow focus.More likely to fit the GS with Ohlins Front and Rear,TT or Kahedo Sports seat,Magura Bars kit and as many Ti bolts as i can afford.Oh and a "hot cam" for a bit more pep.See you soon, all being well.

"Down the Hill from the Grandstand, then its a Right,a bit of fast stuff,a Right, some squiggly stuff and fast bits, another Right, more fast and squiggly stuff, another right, some bumpy squiggly stuff, another right, fast'n'squiggly up the hill, same down the hill, another right, past the Big House and you're back."
