If you are doing the Wester Ross Trail do it anti clockwise i.e. Turn right after you hit the peninsula Applecross coastal route then pass of cattle gives you stunning views on the way back to the mainland

That wee ferry Kylerhea - Glenelg is awesome certainly more charismatic than the bridge!

Have to say the midges were fine not to hungry LOL. The campsite a slig was ok the grumpy old guy was fine seamus's bar had a great selection of local products to sample As for the island fantastic roads great folks all friendly and the weather was scorching we will be back SOON.
