after a grand total of 230 miles yesterday after not being on the bike for two months i got up for work this morning and even my eyelashes ached i aint used to all this hard work

A grand, if chilly day out...super-lovely to see folk again and meet (even if briefly! ) some new faces

Ta to Chad for getting the event rolling in the first place. Ta to Ron for the (interesting ) navigation from Thetford...!

Cool to see the various photies of the day...even the ones with some dodgy Tossette in a stooopid fluffy hat

As for the next outing, Tiptree is a triffic place...more than happy for a trip there...jam, sponge cake, cream tea...M'mmmmm A couple of hundred miles all in for a day is pretty much the Badger standard short day out, 'specially when there a more hours of daylight...

A weekend arrangement sounds like a grin...when it's a little warmer though!! What's the rest of you think...?

Still alive and well as i made it back with 15 minutes to spare, but thanks for the heart rending worrying Rich

I see from the pictures that the 2 groups managed to meet up after all............. puts my mind to rest after the funny looks i was getting blatting up and down the high street about 3 times on the bike to try to round everyone up

p.s. the furry hats are widely available and a nice Russian Army badge on the front completes the ensemble

i thought the colouring of the fluffy hat matched rather nicely with a fast changing colour of my fluffy face

Soooooooo after being found by the VALIANT ! BigYin and him putting his crown jewels at risk by several trips back and forth to round everybody up

we popped down to the other end of town to hook up with the others after they had WALKED !!! up to us

then it was time to move on in the search of Coffee

and the first one was not a winner still it was a nice place to stop

twas at this point that john was looking confused why is dean being strangled by the invisible man

so we moved on to woodbridge for the final stop and coffee of the day complete with a couple of butt clenchin moments on what was fairly shitty roads those ole farmers like to share

I feel the need for a second Annual Tiptree Scone Run in, say, April

. Gives us plenty of chances for runs in the meantime.

Worked well last year so keep it more or less the same.
